As many are aware, last year the committee of MGBS was reduced from 9 to 5 members after a change in the club statute. Although this change was made  an election was not needed. This was due to the fact that only four members filed in an application as candidates for the elections. The committee decided to co-opt the fifth member at a later stage, after the general meeting which was held in February 2009. The co-opted member was Mr. Nicholas Agius.

This year during the AGM, Mr. Mario Zahra (Secretary) proposed to everybody present at the general meeting, that Mr. Nicholas Agius would be given full committee membership. This came about because, the rest of the committee felt that it would only be fair to do such move after all the hard work done by Mr. Agius in 2009.

This motion was approved by everybody present at he AGM with no objections. The committee would like to thank All the members present for their support and understanding while wishing Mr. Agius all the best for the coming year.
